Baby Steps

It’s been a long time since I went outside to paint for a variety of reason, none of which would interest anyone but me (actually I’m not even that interested as long as I can overcome them!) but I did so this morning. Not in a way that was terribly bold or adventurous but still - I went outside and painted! I went all of about 20 to 25 feet out of our front door and painted our east side yard. It’s a re-beginning!

This is the view.

This, the view with the painting.

Nice. I wondered if you painted it from a photo or from the “real deal”. Now I know. Oddly though, the perspective on the painting seems more real than the photos. Hasn’t the weather been lovely?

The last photo, the panoramic, is two shots spliced together and the tripod was on a slight incline so the perspective in the painting IS actually more accurate than the photo!
